Intermediate NYSA Summer Course 2010

Intermediate NYSA's Summer Course has just taken place. Kodaly and Dalcroze sessions were led by Rachel Erdos and Daisy Vatalaro. Sectional coaching was given by Roger Garland, Jonathan Barritt, Gillian Thoday and Elizabeth Bradley. Full orchestra rehearsals were led by NYSA Director, Viviane Ronchetti. Repertoire studied included Palladio by Karl Jenkins, Plink Plank Plunk by Leroy Anderson; The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba by Handel and Tchaikovsky's Cantabile from the 6th Symphony. Carol Mullins supervised pastoral care and activities in free time were master-minded by James Greenfield.
