Senior NYSA

Senior NYSA's Easter course has just taken place at Queenswood School, Hatfield, herts. The coaching staff included Roger Garland; Jonathan Strange; Jonathan Barritt; Gillian Thoday and Andrew Baker. Full rehearsals were taken by conductor, Damian Iorio. Music studied included Britten 'Simple Symphony' Shostakovich 'Chamber Symphony' Bartok 'Rumanian Dances' and the last movement of Walton's 'Sonata' for Strings. Students attending came from far and wide, including Inverness, Ayr, Newcastle, Cumbria, Birmingham, Suffolk, London and Cardiff.

The next Senior NYSA course takes place in Scotland from 24th July to 3rd August.
