Judy Anderson

Judy Anderson, the leader of NYSA's pastoral team, is Housemistress at St Swithun's School, Winchester.

She has wide experience in the pastoral care of young people in the NYSA age range and approaches every situation with calm good humour.

A trained musician herself, she understands the demands on a talented young musician in rehearsal and their need for relaxation, sometimes in an organised way, other times, just free.

Ben Wakefield

Ben Wakefield is the housemaster for the boys. He is NYSA's tower of strength - in all sorts of ways. He is always on hand in a crisis, every suggestion he makes comes with good sense and a good laugh!

Helen Nendick

Helen Nendick is housemistress for the girls, along with Judy Anderson. Helen is very adept at thinking up interesting things to do , like the Treasure Hunt at Leatherhead. She is a teacher at Queenswood School, and combines a relaxed easy manner with a no-nonsense approach when the need arises.
